Too Much Fun

The general election will be such a let down after the primaries! Democrats are so nasty and it's so much fun to watch them go at each other instead of Bush for a change. (consequently, it might also be the only time we get to hear honest opinions about some of their own)

Says former Clinton supporter David Geffin in Maureen Dowd's latest NYT article:

"Everybody in politics lies, but they [the Clintons] do it with such ease, it’s troubling,” Geffen had said.

The gloves are off! The Clinton campaign demanded an apology from the the Obama campaign, saying that there is no room for such "personal insults" (are you frickin' kidding me???)

To which the Obama campaign responded...

“We aren’t going to get in the middle of a disagreement between the Clintons and someone who was once one of their biggest supporters. It is ironic that the Clintons had no problem with David Geffen when was raising them $18 million and sleeping at their invitation in the Lincoln bedroom. It is also ironic that Senator Clinton lavished praise on Monday and is fully willing to accept today the support of South Carolina State Sen. Robert Ford, who said if Barack Obama were to win the nomination, he would drag down the rest of the Democratic Party because he's black."

I love it! They even threw in the Lincoln bedroom quip! Ahh, this is going to be fun. How DARE Obama thwart Hillary's due reward for all those years with Bill?!!! How DARE he??? Well, he's gonna get it now, mark my words... People have, erm, committed suicide for posing less of a threat to Hillary's future...
