"Right" to life and the Declaration of Independence.

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are
Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.

Unless you happen to be an unborn child, in which case the only "person" with the right to live free and pursue happiness is the mother - and the laws of this country back it up. I may sound hysterical by saying this, but at what point on the OTHER end of life (i.e. old age) do you cease to be a "viable person" and therefore lose your rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness?

Depends on what your definition of the word "person" is, I guess. And therein lies the crux of the anti-life people. A "fetus" isn't a person. So we can legally kill it without calling it "murder".
