Classy Democrats on parade.

Yep. Class abounds during the Alito hearings and all around the US these days. Those Democrats really *are* the party of compassion and equality and tolerance! I've been so wrong all these years...

First, hypocrisy from Sen. Kennedy. He belonged to a group that was an exclusive all-male group, too. Only it's okay because HIS group was a "social group", not like CAP that was evil and malicious, as we know, and Alito should hang for being a part of it.

The attacks on Alito from Democrats saddened his wife to the point where she left the proceedings in tears.

Who the hell asks a distinguished judge whether or not he's a "closet bigot"??

These people are ridiculously unhinged and should be ashamed of themselves. The thing that gets me the maddest is that you will NEVER, EVER see a Democrat under the same scrutiny and treated the same way as Alito has been. Ever.

And I don't want to hear any flap about "well Bill Clinton was tarred and feathered by Starr" because Kenneth Starr was villified in the MSM. So was Paula Jones. And Gennifer Flowers. And Monica Lewinski. Republicans TRIED to get the truth out, but thanks to the Democrats and their comrades in the MSM, they smeared the accusers rather than take a good look at the criminal in question.

Democrats need to be held to the same lofty standards they hold Republicans to. But they're not. And they won't be. They can get away with whatever they want, and then turn around and accuse good, decent people of the very thing they've been doing. And they get away with it time after time.

More at Michelle Malkin.

Hillary Clinton shows up with Harry Belafonte???

And of course it wouldn't be Thursday without Ann Coulter.
"Liberals are being routed. They can change the lineup, the manager, the coach, but the losing streak never ends. By and large, Republicans aren't even bothering to send in their A team anymore. Alito can start wearing his iPod to the hearings. By the end of the hearings, he'll be addressing the senators as "dude."

Also, check out these two threads at Lucianne.com - as per usual, the comments contain more truth and interesting opinion than the news stories they link to.
  1. Shame of the Senate (The "Ted and Chuckie Show")
  2. Alito's Wife leaves room in tears
Okay, that's about it for me right now. I'm in a good mood, and if I have to read anything more about stupid Dems and thier transparent hypocrisy and childishness I'll start to get a bit grouchy.

And it's too pretty a day here in New Fallujah to be grouchy.
